The largest gay nightclub is Revenge, located just in front of the main pier. A gay monthly club night worth going too is Wild Fruit at TRU nightclub. A popular gay bar is Charles Street Bar at 8 Marine Parade (just around the corner from Revenge) and has a small nightclub upstairs called Envy. Between here and Revenge is another popular bar called R Bar. Further up Marine Parade at number 11 is Amsterdam Bar, which also doubles as a gay hotel and sauna. There are loads of gay venues and hotels in Brighton; the best web sites for up to date listings are RealBrighton.com or Gscene.com  

One of the best times to visit the city is that of the time of Brighton Pride, held early August. The parade and festival are highly recommended. For further details log onto BrightonPride.org. Pride attracts about 150,000 people, so one bit of advise is to book your hotel early as they always sell out.
