Saturday 22nd October 2011... after the huge success last year, Salvation returned to the German capital Berlin as the main event on Saturday night of the HustlaBall Circuit Party Weekend. The 4,000 capacity Malzfabrik nightclub, a former warehouse, was packed with sexy boys and much busier than last year.
Entertainment came from some of the hottest gogo boys and girls in Europe, the Twisted-Dream-Duo, aerialists and fire eaters, a PA from singer Peyton (Keep Believin and Music In Me), plus some of the best international DJ's including Ben Manson, Saeed Ali and Edu de la Torre.
By midnight the 4,000 capacity venue was almost full with a glamorous and sexy crowd of party people. A lot of boys were showing off there buff bodies, the bar boys were wearing very small shiny blue hotpants. It was great to see them celling cider, which can be sometimes difficult to get hold of in Europe. It was also nice to see the very sexy Desperados boys giving out free body stencils, and the Fitness First boys promoting there gym. We also bumped into the owner of Athletic Star, who's boys have the most perfectly shaped bodies you'll ever see.
Upstairs there was a second dance floor with more poppy music than the funky house on the main dance floor. It was nice to have the choice and be able to move around from one dance floor to another. Although the stairs did seem to be a bit of a bottle neck, however it was a good place to be able to chat to people as the sound systems on the dance floors were enormously powerful. Our microphones couldn't handle the noise. This along with a amazing laser and light show, created a fantastic buzzing atmosphere that Salvation is best known for.
The highlight of the night for us was Payton singing his new track, the crowd loved him, he's a great performer with an incredible voice. He made me laugh backstage when he reminded us of Erick's music video we did of his song "Higher Place" when we were on holiday in Athens.
The next Salvation party is in London at Cafe de Paris on Sunday 13th November 2011 - Click Here for more info.
