Fun in the Italian Sun

Alternative Holidays are known for their exclusive gay holidays in beautiful destinations around the world. It’s a unique company with one aim – to provide us with a fantastic gay holiday. Because we’ve been going on holidays with them for the last 10 years and fully recommend them.

On this event we travelled with our friends Cleo, Bruno, Glen and Tyson. It was actually a working holiday as most of the time we were filming. We also shot some great video for HornyModelBoys.com and some fun music videos, "Let me think about it", "Eye of the Tiger" and Erick did a Lady Gaga number, although that one didn't make it online!   

This year’s summer event was in the Marche region in the middle of Italy, near Rome. We flew with Ryan Air so changing flight destinations wasn’t too much hassle. However the airlines baggage policy isn’t as easy to navigate and caused us loads of problems – but that’s a whole other story.

We arrived at Ancona Airport and were picked up by Lee, the event organizer. With-in 1 hour we were at the resort Abbadetta. The first thing we noticed was the amazing views. Spectacular scenery across rolling hills and the terracotta rooftops of centuries old villages, to the mountains and azure blue sea. Abbadetta is situated majestically at the highest point in the area with stunning views over rolling hills covered in vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees, with an atmosphere of a bygone age. Within short walking distance of the historically important village of Acquaviva Picena and just a few kilometers from the golden sand beach resort of San Benedetto Del Tronto. Its also near to the World Heritage Site of Ascoli, Loreto, Ancona and Pescara

The best unique thing of Abbadetta are the water slides, 200 meters of them wind down the cliff front to the pool below. Just as I took off from the top my friend gave me a tip “lift your bum off the floor, only touch the slide with your heals and shoulder blades, it makes you go much faster” he was right, I almost lost my trunks. Other fun activities include the diving board over the main pool and the tennis court. But just the simple thing of relaxing around the pool, soaking up the sun, whilst checking out the other boys was most popular.

The thing that makes Alternative Holidays so good from your average holiday is the organized parties and cabaret entertainment. Special thanks to Kandi Kane Baxter, Laquisha Jonz and Cassidy Connors; we haven’t laughed so much in a long while.
