The infamous gay circuit party “Rapido” crossed the water from Amsterdam, for a spectacular launch party @ KOKO in Camden, London.
Rapido is the number one gay party in Amsterdam, famous for its stunning club visuals, amazing light shows, super sexy performers, glamorous party people & featuring some of the best international Dj’s from across the globe. Following an epic million pound program of refurbishment, the former “Camden Palace” reopened as KOKO, a music & club venue with big ambitions. An eclectic set of regular club nights has turned this revamped North London landmark into a slice of cutting edge cool. It always was a magnificent venue, and the refurbishment has more than done it justice: it's like going to a rave in an opera house, with huge arches & balconies rising three floors above the giant dance floor, certainly giving it the wow-factor. KOKO is the perfect choice for Rapido to bring its unique clubbing experience to London.
The Launch of Rapido London will bring the BEST elements of the European Circuit Parties to the heart of the capital, and will be followed by more spectacular quarterly events @ KOKO, the next one Sunday 1st March in 2009.

Manny Lehman (USA) is an internationally acclaimed house music DJ and producer, already a major name in the circuit party scene, Manny has had the opportunity to spin at some of the world's most popular clubs and venues. In addition to his production and DJ work, Lehman is one of the most requested remixers around, transforming many songs into club hits for established artists such as Janet Jackson, Cher & Madonna.

Giangi Cappai (Italy) is an ever changing dance musical chameleon, and with his best known alter-ego, Alma Matris is the embodiment of the darkest tribal vibe in the musical circuit. His single Rapido, in its first week topped the world charts and conquered even the fiercest dance floors, being played by some of the best known DJ in the world. Club compilations and fiercest Dj sets worldwide are full of Giangi's most famous electro tribal grooves.
