Saturday 30th May 2009

Salvation returned to London’s largest theatre of dance “The Troxy” for another spectacular event. The gay mega party usually known as a Sunday T-dance spectacular, this time moved to a Saturday night. It was an unusual weekend to hold it, one week after the Spring Bank holiday, but that didn’t stop almost 1300 people turning out to enjoy the funky house music from DJ’s Sharon O Love, Mis White & Pier Morrocco.

Plus a very special guest PA from the Diva Deluxe, KELLY ROWLAND, who performed hits from her latest album “Ms. Kelly”. As one of the founding members of the girl group Destiny’s Child, Rowland sold more then 50 million records worldwide with the group. Since their disbandment in 2005, her second album spawned the number-one single “Work”. As a solo artist she has sold more than four million albums worldwide.

A massive production of pyrotechnics and laser lights lit up the venue. We also organized 8 gogo boys to help sex up the atmosphere and fill the stage with eye candy. On the first set all the boys came out together and did a white theme to match the glamorous white angel stilt walkers. The next set was a blue toy soldier theme ( photo 2 ). It took us almost two months to design and make these costumes and this was the first time we used them, they looked fantastic and was really pleased with the outcome. Another new costume theme was the lycra wrestling outfits that we ordered in especially from America. My thanks to all the boys who did a fantastic job and looked amazing; especially Brian Muma who did some incredible somersaults!
